MetroPCS, Leap Wireless reputation Q4 2009 earnings

Two of the smaller U.S. carriers, MetroPCS (New York Stock Exchange: PCS) and Leap Wireless (Cricket), rich person recently reported their Q4 2009 profit. Hera’s the retread:

MetroPCS:

11-plus growth during the year1.3 million net additions in the year6.6 million subscribers in total

Leap Wireless (Cricket):

29% more subscribers than last year1.1 million network additions in the year4.95 million subscribers in sum

TI shows a mobile earphone with a no-glasses 3D display

According to my buddy Bokkos over at 3d-display-info.com, TI showed a new 3D exhibit for mobile phones, running on an OMAP3 chipset at MWC. The exhibit is a 120Hz liquid crystal display with an 3M film that directs the images to the left or right field oculus alternately (3M unveiled this technology back in Nov 2009).
