Google’s blue devil dot helps you shop class

Google (NSDQ: GOOG) is trying to assistance mobile users shop by letting searchers know if products ar in stock at local stores.

If you’re shopping for a particular product from C. H. Best Buy, Sears, Tennessee Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, or Occident Elm, there will now be a blue devil battery-acid telling you where this is available nearby. TI shows a mobile earphone with a no-glasses 3D display

According to my buddy Bokkos over at 3d-display-info.com, TI showed a new 3D exhibit for mobile phones, running on an OMAP3 chipset at MWC. The exhibit is a 120Hz liquid crystal display with an 3M film that directs the images to the left or right field oculus alternately (3M unveiled this technology back in Nov 2009). Navteq, Nokia and Magneti Marelli Demonstrate Smartphones Integration Into Car Infotainment Systems

Navteq together with Nokia and Magneti Marelli ar demonstrating their work which seamlessly integrates smartphones into an in-fomite documentary system. Once connected the full stove of smartphone features, services and applications are available through the high gear resolution screens and audio systems embedded in the car.

Telus to Unveil ‘Device Protection Plan’ This Month

Telus is gears up to launching what they’re career a ‘Device Protection Plan’ on Sep 10th. In perfume, the plan is insurance for your twist… and it’ll run you $7 per calendar month. Great, another ‘add-on’, right?

Although I’ve never doomed a twist to larceny, deprivation or damage (rap on woodwind instrument), I could potentially see this extra insurance policy advent in handy. Manufacturer warranties often do not covering fire (more…)
