PreCentral brings us an interesting rumour involving the ever-struggling Palm (NSDQ: PALM) and AT&T (New York Stock Exchange: T) (which has its funds under controller). Apparently, the once-famous Treo maker is working on a new webOS device – Elan. Details are scarce at the moment, but it seems we’re talking about a high gear-oddment all-touchscreen headphone, which if released, volition first base strike AT&T and European GSM carriers.

DOOM Runs on Palm Pre with Hardware Acceleration

You mightiness remember early signs of DOOM run on the Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre back in the summer, but it wasn’t run optimally. Well, with webOS 1.3.5 brought with it some extra OpenGL ES functions, allowing for more robust 3D manipulation. Today Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is keeping their Das Kapital Markets Clarence Day upshot in Espoo, Republic of Finland. The list of things the Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre is goodness at doing is considerable. The Pre’s webOS tin multi-job like it’s nobody’s stage business, it’s great at aggregating your sociable network contacts and it’ll even allow you to pinch and soar your way through vane-pages.
