Rogers Announces HSPA+, 21 Mbps Coming to Canada in August

Ericsson wins the auction for Nortel’s Wireless assets, bill comes out to $1.13 one thousand million

The auction for Nortel’s Wireless assets, which comes with a lot of intellectual property in the CDMA and LTE quad, was won by Ericsson to the line of $1.13 billion yesterday. Nokia (New York Stock Exchange: NOK) Ernst Werner von Siemens Networks, who play $650 1000000, lost. RIM was blocked from buying the assets out right, and could not participate in the auction because they refused to accept Nortel’s price. (more…)
